Sheltech awarded three renowned academicians for their invaluable contribution in their respective fields of work.
The real estate company awarded “Sheltech Awards” to renowned artist Professor Rafiqun Nabi (Ranabi) for the year 2015, Professor Emeritus Dr Aynun Nishat for the year 2016 and Professor Emeritus Sirajul Islam Choudhury for 2017.
Sheltech Chairman Engr Kutubuddin Ahmed and Managing Director Dr Toufiq M Seraj handed over the awards to the respective persons.
The award includes an amount of Tk 200,000 and a crest, says a press release.
Sheltech Director Tanvir Ahmed and Dr Samia Seraj also were present on this occasion.
Sheltech started ‘Sheltech Padak’ from 1998 to honor for the country’s eminent personalities for their lifelong dedication to social causes and their excellent service in their respective field of work.
Poet Shamsur Rahman, Rabindra sangeet singer Kalim Sharafi, Nazrul sangeet singer Firoza Begum, Artist Qayyum Chowdhury, Litterateur Rabeya Khatun, Scientist and writer Professor Dr Jafar Iqbal are some of the many recipients of the award.
