Over 10,000 auto-rickshaws registered in six months: BRTA

A total of 10,217 auto-rickshaws were registered across the country from January to June 2020, according to official data.

Of them, only 68 received registration in Dhaka, according to Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).

A total of 30,967 auto rickshaws were registered in 2019 while the number was 21,638 in 2018, the transport regulator data also showed.
