1,500 commercial trucks registered in Dhaka in Jan, Feb

Around 1,500 commercial trucks were registered in the country in January and February 2019 alone, according to an official data.

Among those, 1,037 trucks were registered in Dhaka, as per the data by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).

Apart from that, a total of 12,663 trucks were registered in 2018, the transport regulator data showed.

The data also revealed that 145,919 such mode of vehicles was registered until 2018.
