Two more KMCH doctors test positive for coronavirus

Two more physicians of Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday.

The infected doctors are Assistant Prof Dr Ranjit Kumar of the Gastroenterology department and Assistant Prof Dr Omar Khaled Faisal of Paediatrics department of the hospital.

The two physicians came from Dhaka on April 10 and were living at the college guesthouse, said KMCH Principal Dr Abdul Ahad.

He said seven people, including three physicians, have so far been infected with the virus in the test conducted at the hospital, reports UNB.

Meanwhile, seven more people died from coronavirus in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours on Sunday, taking the death toll in the country to 91.

Besides, 312 more people tested positive for coronavirus during the period, raising the number of such cases in the country to 2,456.
