The Shilpa Bhaban Corporate Branch of Sonali Bank Limited at Motijheel in the capital was locked down on Monday after one of its officials tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
A senior official of the largest state-owned commercial bank confirmed the matter to the FE.
“All bankers and others employees of the branch were ordered to be quarantined at home following the diagnosis,” the official explained.
