Bangladesh Railway (BR) has suspended the training programmes for its staff due to coronavirus outbreak.
The training programmes will be suspended until further order, said the BR Training Academy located at Halishahar in the port city Chattogram.
Rector of the BR Training Academy Mohammed Abul Kashem issued a notice in this regard on Saturday. The notice said that all training programmes that are scheduled for sub-assistant engineers (SAEs) and senior sub-assistant engineers (SSAEs) of Engineering Department of BR will be suspended until further order due to coronavirus outbreak in Bangladesh.
The notice also mentioned that after recovering the Covid-19 situation, the fresh schedule of the training programmes will be announced.
