A court on Tuesday fixed December 5 for submitting an investigation report in a case filed against former Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha for allegedly demanding bribe.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Satyabrata Shikder fixed the new date as Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) director Syed Iqbal Hossain, also the investigation officer in the case, failed to submit the report today (Tuesday), said Md Nizam Uddin, general recording officer of the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM)court, reports UNB.

On September 27 in 2018, Barrister Nazmul Huda, a former BNP minister, filed the case against SK Sinha with Shahbagh Police Station on charge of abuse of power and corruption.
