With four new cases, the total number of coronavirus patients has climbed to 26 in Lakhmipur.
Confirming the matter on Sunday night, Civil Surgeon Abdul Gaffar said the four new patients are residents of the sadar upazila, reports a news agency.
He said 47 samples were sent to Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Disease (BITID) in Chattogram and four samples among those came out positive after tests.
