As part of precautionary measures, the Health and Family Welfare Ministry has issued a 13-point health rules for government officials and employees in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
Followings are the health ministry instructions:
1. The Housing and Public Works Ministry could be directed to take necessary measures to set up required number of disinfection tunnels.
2. All office rooms and surrounding spaces must be disinfected before beginning of official activities.
3. Body temperature of all officials and employees must be checked through thermal scanners or thermometer before entering offices.
4. All office transports have to be made hundred per cent disinfected. Besides, officials and employees must maintain three-feet physical distance while using transports and wear masks properly.
5. Surgical masks will be used for one time while cloth-made masks could be re-used by washing it with soap.
6. Hands need to be cleaned several times using hand sanitisers before and during travelling.
7. All staffs have to follow three-feet distance while having meal.
8. As part of hygienic measures, officials and employees have to wash their hands with soap every time they use toilets.
9. Physical distance must be maintained while performing official duty.
10. Wearing mask is mandatory at workplaces alongside cleaning hands with soap or sanitiser.
11. Vigilance teams will monitor whether health rules are maintained.
12. Placards inscribing health instructions with pictures have to be hanged on walls.
13. If anyone is found sick, he or she will be kept in isolation or quarantine.
As spread of COVID-19 is on the rising trend in the country, the health ministry has issued the health rules for official and employees to protect them from the infection of deadly virus.
