Firefighter Sohel Rana, who was seriously injured in the deadly blaze at the FR Tower in Dhaka’s Banani, has died in a Singapore hospital.
He died while undergoing treatment in the Singapore General Hospital at 2:17pm (Bangladesh time) on Monday, according to Fire Service Control Room Officer Lima Khanam.
With Sohel Rana’s death, the total number of deaths stood at 27 in the blaze, bdnews24.com reported.
On Friday, the firefighter was flown to Singapore for advanced medical treatment in an air ambulance following the advice of CMH physicians.
