A fire broke out at a building on the Suhrawardi Avenue in Dhaka's Baridhara on Friday.
The fire originated from an electric short circuit around 7:27 am, said Russel Shikdar, a duty-officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
On information, UNB reports, two fire-fighting units went to the spot and extinguished the blaze.
