The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, the anniversary of birth and demise of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), will be observed on November 10 amid religious fervor and due solemnity across the country.
The National Moon Sighting Committee came up with the decision at a meeting held at conference room of the Islamic Foundation (IF) in the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque here in the evening as the moon of the holy month Rabi-ul-Awwal was sighted in the country’s skyline on Tuesday, said an IF press release.
Religious Affairs Secretary and Vice-President of the National Moon Sighting Committee Md Anisur Rahman presided over the meeting, reports BSS.
