Investigators have so far prepared charges against 125 people over leakage of Dhaka University question papers.
Of those charged, 87 are students of Dhaka University, said Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, chief of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), a special wing of the country's police, told the media at a press briefing in Dhaka city on Thursday.
"The investigation is still in progress. Once it is done, we will press charges in court," he said.
So far, at least 47 people have been arrested over the involvement in the question paper leak.
On October 20, 2017, a full section of the question paper for the test for the 2017-18 academic session was leaked, sparking actions from university authorities and then the police after filing of complaints.
A special team led by the CID's Special Superintendent of Police (SSP) Molla Nazrul has been investigating the case.
