Dhaka North City Corporation’s (DNCC) evicted some 150 illegal establishments in the city and reclaimed 25,000 square feet of space removing the illegal structures in the city's Gulshan area.
A mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Mohammad Sajid Anowar conducted eviction drives in the area on Sunday.
Executive Magistrate Mir Nahid Ahsan was also present during the drive.
Such drives and mobile courts will continue in the coming days, according to a press statement issued on Thursday.
