Flight operations were disrupted as a severely dense fog overcast the sky of the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for five and a half hours on Saturday.
It resumed around 9:30am after visibility improved, said Alamgir Hossain, an assistant information officer at the airport.
A total of five international flights were affected, he said.
Poor visibility had forced suspension of flights on both domestic and international routes since 4:00am.
Bangladesh's north-western part has been experiencing a mild cold wave for the last several days with a drop in temperatures in the middle of the country, including the capital Dhaka.
