RAB arrests four with 0.2 million Yaba pills

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four suspected drug traders, including a woman, along with some 0.2 million Yaba tablets, from Teknaf and Cox's Bazar sadar upazilas on Saturday night.

The arrestees are Sabikun Nahar, 25, wife of one Salimullah, Md Shaker Miah, 27, son of late Syed Ali, Md Hason, 20, son of Md Moshtak, and Md Abdul Jalil, 28, son of Abu Talek, according to a news agency report.

On information, a team of RAB-15 raided the house of Salimullah at Pollanpara in Teknaf upazila and arrested Sabikun Nahar along with 0.2 million Yaba pills, said Major Mohammad Rabiul Islam, deputy commanding officer of RAB-15.

Another team of the elite force conducted a drive at Marine City Complex and arrested three other drug traders along with 2,000 Yaba pills, said the RAB official.
