India’s Border Security Force (BSF) shot a Bangladeshi along the Beurjhari area in Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgaon on early Sunday.
The injured, 30-year-old Md Dulal is the son of Md Sabratur, a resident of Charuigati village of the upazila.
Quoting locals, Amjankhor Union Parishad Chairman Akalu Muhammad said BSF personnel shot Dulal when he was trying to bring cows from India, UNB reported.
Dulal crossed the border with a gunshot wound and is currently being treated at a clinic in Rangpur, he added.
