The Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) on Wednesday evicted 15 illegal establishments and removed 50,000 cubic feet soil from Charwashpur in Keraniganj.
The evicted establishments include two concrete bank protections, three concrete walls and 10 other establishments from the area connecting the Buriganga-Turag rivers under Dhaka Land Port, said a press release.
The drive will resume again on March 10 and 11, reports UNB.
