The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) arranged COVID-19 testing facilities for the readymade garments (RMG) workers from May 13.
According to BSS, the BGMEA appointed two trained technicians at Ashulia health centre in this regard.
BGMEA Director Asif Ibrahim said any interested worker and employee of RMG factories could test COVID-19 after reporting to Ashulia health centre. The respective worker and employee would be later informed about the test results with necessary prescription from the centre.
The collection of samples for COVID-19 test will start from May 13 every day from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Ashulia health centre.
The two appointed technicians are Nizam Uddin (Mobile: 01945283786) and M Sujat Hossain (Mobile: 01713966837).
