45 Rohingyas arrested in Chattogram

A good number of Rohingyas, who had escaped from the camp in Cox’s Bazar, were arrested from a house at Keshabpur Molla area in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram around Tuesday midnight.

Police raided the house of one Mobarak Saudagar acting on a tip-off and arrested 45 Rohingyas, said Shamim Sheikh, officer-in-charge of Sitakunda Police Station.

The Rohingyas had escaped from the Kutupalang camp and been working at a local factory, UNB reported quoting Sheikh.
