Different lower courts in virtual hearing across the country granted bail to 3,633 people on Monday.
Md Saifur Rahman, special officer of High Court Division, confirmed this.
The courts also settled 5,730 cases in those virtual hearing across the country.
Earlier in a statement, the Supreme Court suspended the operation of all courts to contain the spread of coronavirus since March 26.
However, the court proceedings began through videoconference on May 11 after President Abdul Hamid promulgated an ordinance on May 10 which allows all courts to conduct trial proceedings through videoconference and other digital means.
