A total of 29 Bangladeshis were killed in incidents of violence along the country's borders from January to September 2019, according to a local independent rights body.
The Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) report noted that 25 were shot dead while four succumbed to physical torture in the border areas in first nine months this year.
Some 25 people were also abducted during the same period and 32 others were injured in the areas, the report added.
