The number of car registration in the country stood at 12,545 in the first nine months of the current calendar year.
Of the total, 11,279 cars got registration in Dhaka from January to September, 2019, according to an official data provided by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
A total of 18,227 cars were registered in 2018 while the number was 21,959 in 2017, it added.
