Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Sunday expressed optimism of achieving targeted 7.2 per cent GDP growth in the current fiscal year (FY22).
The minister expressed the optimism after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP), reports BSS.
He said, “In the current financial year, the size of the economy will be US$455 billion. Per capita income will reach US$2,785 this year.”
The minister also expressed his hope that the per capita income will reach $3,089 in the next fiscal year.
