Delivery van registrations in Dhaka city witnessed a significant decline in 2018 compared to those of 2017.
A total of 1,882 van were registered in 2018 while it was 2,199 in the year before, according to statistics provided by the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
With the latest, a total of 22,459 such mode of vehicles had been registered with the BRTA in the capital until 2018, it said.
The number of registered delivery van in the capital stood at 1,464 in 2015 and 1,898 in 2016, the BRTA data further added.
