Two youths die in gunfight with detectives in Dhaka city

Two unidentified youths have died in a ‘gunfight’ with members of the Detective Branch (DB) in Dhaka city's Badda early Friday.

Officer-in-charge of Badda police station Kazi Wajed Ali said the two youths, aged between 25 and 30, were found seriously wounded after an exchange of fire ’ with DB men at Aftabnaga, according to a news agency.

The bullet-hit youths were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors pronounced them dead around 6:00am, said sub-inspector Abdul Quader of the police station.
