Two war vessels join Mongla Coast Guard to bolster security

Two war vessels - CGS Mansoor Ali and CGS Kamruzzaman - joined Mongla Coast Guard fleet on Friday afternoon.
With the addition of two vessels, now the number of vessels at Mongla is seven.
The Italy-made vessels reached the jetty of Mongla Port at 2:30 pm, reports UNB citing a press release.
The vessels started journey for Bangladesh on November 17 from Italy.
The addition of new vessels will help the Coast Guard to maintain a round-the-clock maritime security in Bangladesh waters, said the release.
