Tree collapse snaps rail link with Sylhet

The rail communications between Sylhet and the rest of the country remained suspended from early Tuesday following the collapse of a tree on the tracks in the hilly area of Lawachara National Park in Kamalganj Upazila.
Shamsernagar Railway Station master Kabir Ahmed said a tree fell on the engine of Sylhet-bound intercity train ‘Udayan Express’ during a storm around 4:30am leaving rail communication snapped.
Relief works has been started around 10am, UNB reported quoting the station master.
