Three held in Jhenaidah while entering Bangladesh from India

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained three people from a bordering area in Maheshpur upazila of Jhenaidah district early Friday while they were entering the country from India illegally.
Quamrul Hasan, assistant director of BGB Battalion-58, said a BGP patrol team detained them from Shyamkur village of the upazila at around 3:30am, reports UNB.
During primary interrogation, the detainees claimed that they went to the neighbouring country for having treatment, he said, adding they were handed over to Maheshpur Police Station.
