Siddikur tees off well in Manila Masters

Siddikur Rahman teed off in the S$1 million Resorts World Manila Masters with a good note to share the 25th slot in the first round at Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club in Philippine on Thursday.

The 32-year-old Bangladesh golfer carded three-under-par 69 in the 1st round, staying five shots back of the joint leader Scott Barr (Australia) and Micah Lauren Shin (USA).

Siddikur was bogey-free in the first 9 and was flawless up to 15th hole before trading a bogey in the next, reports UNB.

The two-time Asian Tour winner, Siddikur traded four birdies (4th, 14th, 15th and 17th holes) against one bogey (16th hole) to share the 25th slot with 16 other golfers.
