School boy killed as truck runs over him in Jashore

A twelve years old school boy was killed as a truck crushed him in Monirampur Upazila in Jashore district Saturday.
The victim was identified as Raihan, 12, a resident at Bashontopur village of the Upazila. He was a student of class six at Palli Mangol High School.
Police said the accident took place in the morning in Khedapara Bazar area on Rajganj-Pulerhat Road when Raihan was going to school riding his bicycle. Raihan died on the spot upon crushed by the four-wheeler.
Police seized the truck and arrested its driver, reports BSS.
