Road crash kills two in Gazipur

At least two people were killed and eight others injured after a truck rammed into a human hauler on Tongi-Kaliganj road at Shalimun in Tongi area of Gazipur district on Thursday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, reports UNB.
Kamal Hossain, officer-in-charge of Tongi Police Station, said the accident took place around 7:00am when a truck hit the Tongi-bound human hauler.
A passenger of the human hauler was killed on the spot and nine others were injured.
The injured were taken to Ahsanullah General Hospital where doctors pronounced another passenger dead.
