RAB arrests two for ‘spreading rumours’ against the state on YouTube

The Rapid Action Battalion or RAB has arrested two people over allegations of spreading anti-state rumours on their You Tube channel.

The detainees, Khalid Bin Ahmed and Mohammed Hizbullah were spreading rumours on the ‘SK TV’, said RAB-1 chief Lt Col Md Sarwar Bin Kashem.

Khaled and Hizbullah were arrested from Uttara on Friday night, according to bdnews24.

The RAB will hold a press briefing on the issue at RAB Media Centre in Karwan Bazar on Saturday, said Major Mohammed Rakibuzzaman, company commander of RAB-1.
