Police recover woman’s body in Habiganj

Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from a paddy field at Rajiura in Habiganj Sadar upazila early Thursday.
On information, police recovered the body around 1:30am, said Md Masuk Ali, officer-in-charge of Habiganj Sadar Police Station.
Police say they initially suspect that the victim had been strangled to death, UNB reports.
Imitation ornaments and a ticket of ENA Paribahan from Dhaka to Habiganj were found in her vanity bag, OC Ali said.
Later, the body was sent to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
