Police recover two bodies in Keraniganj

Police recovered the bodies of an elderly man and a woman from the Buriganga River and an under-construction building in Keraniganj of Dhaka district on Wednesday, reports UNB.
The deceased could not be identified yet.
Officer-in-charge of South Keraniganj Police Station Shah Zaman said they recovered the body of the woman, aged around 30, from the 3rd floor of the under-construction building in Chunkutia Aminpara at around 02:00 pm.
The woman might have been killed after rape, he said.
The body of the 75-year-old man was retrieved from the Buriganga River at Postagola in the morning, the OC said.
Police sent the bodies to Sir Salimullah Medical College and Mitford Hospital for autopsy.
