Police recover bullet-hit body of youth in Lakshmipur

Police recovered the bullet-hit body of a youth in Bakultala area in Lakshmipur Sadar upazila on early Tuesday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known yet.
Abul Kalam Azad, officer-in-charge of Chandraganj Police Station, said police rushed to the spot after hearing the sound exchanging gunfire and found the youth’s bullet-hit body there.
Police recovered a gun, two rounds of bullet, and five cartridges from the spot, UNB reported quoting the OC.
He said he might have been killed in infighting between two groups of criminals.
