Police recover body of fruit trader in Sylhet

A fruit trader was found dead at a house at Madina Market in Sylhet city on Thursday.
The trader was identified as Shahab Uddin, 40, a resident of Moglabazar of Dakkhin Surma upazila.
Selim Mia, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Police Station, said after being informed by local people, police recovered the body of Shahab Uddin from the house at around 11:15am and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police also recovered a weight scale stone stained with blood from the spot, UNB reports.
Police suspect that someone might have hit Shahab with the stone on his head for killing him.
