Police arrest Jatri Kalyan Samity secy gen in extortion case

Bangladesh Jatri Kalyan Samity Secretary General Mozammel Haque Chowdhury was arrested from his Sanarpar residence at Siddhirganj in Narayanganj on early Thursday.
He was arrested in a case filed with Mirpur Model Police Station on extortion charges from his residence around 3am, said Dadon Fakir, Officer-in-Charge of Mirpur Police Station.
However, the details of the case could not be known immediately, reports UNB.
