Obey rules, save lives

HATIRJHEEL is a very important road. Places like Gulshan, Banani, Rampura and Shatrasta are linked by Hatirjheel and people living in the area can also move to these busy areas easily. 
As I am a student of East West University living in Kakrail, I also negotiate Moghbazar-Hatirjheel project to go to my university. I experience many things on my way. There is a divider near Police Plaza. On its right are Badda and Rampura and on its left is Gulshan. Gulshan is a very busy area and between 8 am and 9:30 pm, there is a huge rush of people and traffic. Because of the rush, the Gulshan bound people also come to Badda/Rampura road creating a heavy traffic jam. 
Again after crossing Police Plaza, some drivers take U-turn which is prohibited. There is a signboard and some days back there were barricades to stop U-turn by the drivers. But it is frequently ignored by the drivers. Violation of traffic rules often leads to accidents. I use the Hatirjheel Road everyday and I was a regular witness to several accidents. We have only one life and we do not want to lose it so easily.
