Newborn girl rescued from DMCH bathroom

Authorities of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) rescued a newborn girl from a bathroom of its new building on Sunday morning.
A woman spotted the baby inside the bathroom at around 6:00am and informed the authorities, said DMCH police outpost in-charge Bachchu Mia.
Later, the baby was rescued around 6:45am and admitted to NICU (new-born intensive care unit) of the hospital, UNB reported citing the police official.
The authority is investigating the situation, Bachchu Mia said.
