Mother, three children suffer burns in city gas cylinder blast

A woman and her three children sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion in Dhaka's Kadamtali area on Saturday night.
The victims are Fatema Begum, 35, her sons Rafi, 11, and Safwan, 5, and daughter Faria, 9, said sub-inspector Badrul of Kadamtali Police Station.
Ali Akbar, one of the neighbours, said the gas cylinder went off at around 8:30pm when Fatema was cooking in the kitchen, leaving the family members injured, reports UNB.
They were rushed to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Akbar added.
