Medical student dies in Khulna road mishap

A student of Khulna Medical College was killed in a road accident on Rupsha Bridge Bypass road in Labanchora of Khulna city on Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Ariful Islam Akash, 22, a 3rd year student of the college and hailed from Faridpur district, UNB reports.
According to Shafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Labanchara Police Station, the accident took place at around 8:30am, an unknown vehicle hit a motorbike carrying Akash while he was heading towards Rupsha Bridge, leaving him dead on the spot.
