Man killed by lightning while fishing in Sylhet

A man was killed by lightning strike in Goainghat of the district on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Makdul Ali, son of Asgar Ali of Chantabari village in Nandirgao union of Goainghat.
Locals said a thunderbolt hit Makbul while he was fishing in a pond near his house in the morning, reports UNB.
Meanwhile, Goainghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer Biswajit Kumar Pal announced to give Tk 10,000 to the victim's family.
