Man dies in cylinder blast in Chattogram

A rickshaw-van puller was killed as a gas cylinder exploded in Sadarghat area of the port city on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Kamal Uddin, 50, according to a UNB report.
The cylinder blew off after it fell down when the rickshaw-van puller was handling it at a ghat of the Karnaphuli river, killing him on the spot, said Nizam Uddin, officer-in-charge of Sadarghat Police Station.
