Labour dies of electrocution in Habiganj

A labour died after being electrocuted at Kumri village under Baniachang upazila in Habiganj on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Jamirul Mia, 25, a resident of Jatra Pasha village under sadar upazila.
Local people said Jamirul was electrocuted while showering near a tube well during noon. He came in contact with a live electric wire of a water pump, BSS reports.
He was taken to Habiganj Sadar Hospital, where the duty doctors declared him dead.
