Govt promotes three officials to secretaries

The government has promoted three acting secretaries, including those at the Election Commission and Expatriates' Welfare and Oversees Employment Ministry, to secretaries.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Tuesday.
The three officials are Secretary in-charge of Election Commission Helal Uddin Ahmed, Secretary in-charge of Expatriates' Welfare and Oversees Employment Ministry Dr Nomita Halder and Chairman (equivalent to secretary in-charge) of the Land Appeal Board Md Abdul Hannan, reports UNB.
