First Nairobi-New York direct flight lands

Kenyans have celebrated on Twitter after Kenya Airways inaugural direct flight from Nairobi to New York landed.
People were tracking its progress across the Atlantic Ocean through the night, says BBC in its live reporting.
When it took off late on Sunday night, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta tweeted that the 15-hour flight would boost tourism and trade.
In East Africa, direct flights to the US are already available from Ethiopian Airlines.
South African Airways also flies direct from South Africa.
