Fire at shoe warehouse in Old Dhaka under control

A fire that broke out in a shoe warehouse at Alu Bazar in Old Dhaka on Thursday evening has been controlled.
The fire started around 5:00 pm on the fifth floor of a five-storied building.
Six firefighting units brought the blaze under control around 5:35 pm, said Anwarul Islam, warehouse inspector of fire service and civil defence headquarters (media cell).
The origin of the fire is yet to be determined, reports UNB.
