Fire at Konka Electronics factory in Narayanganj

A huge fire that broke out at an electronic goods manufacturing factory in Narayanganj's Sonargaon area was doused.
The fire originated at about 10:50am at the Konka Electronics factory at Mugrapara area and was extinguished at around 1:50 pm on Sunday after firefighters’ frantic efforts, Sagor Miah, a fireman at Sonargaon Fire Station, told The Financial Express.
Ten firefighting units were still working at the spot till filing the report at about 2:50pm, he said.
The actual cause of the blaze could not be ascertained immediately.
