Fake currency-making factory busted in N’ganj

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members unearthed a counterfeit currency-making factory at Sostapur Baitul Monir Road of Fatullah in Narayanganj on Tuesday and arrested two people in this connection.
Based on secret information, a team of RAB-2 conducted a drive on the 5th floor of a multi-storey building around 7:30am and recovered fake currency worth Tk 4.137 million (Tk 41.37 lakh) and forged currency-making equipment, said ASP (Media) of the RAB battalion Md Shahinur Islam.
The elite force also arrested Mamun Islam, 21, and Kamala Begum, 32, from the flat, he said, reports UNB.
